Mental Health Toolkit

The Alterra Mountain Company Community Foundation is creating a toolkit for all Ikon Pass resorts that will provide resources on topics including suicide prevention, substance abuse, experienced trauma, grief, sexual consent, homesickness, and more.

Alterra has built a Resilience and Mental Well-Being program with various tools and resources on a variety of topics for people working in and/or familiar with the mountain snowsports industry. Materials include coping guides and toolkits for individuals and workplace leaders with information on suicide prevention, substance abuse, experienced trauma, grief, sexual consent, homesickness, sudden loss, building a culture of respect, and more. The AMCCF will provide these curated resources to the larger Ikon Pass community through a Mental Health Toolkit. Additional information will be forthcoming.
